On Tuesday, the third season of the band's summer was announced. On the way home from work, I opened the previous live performance playlist on the homepage of Netease Cloud Music. I listened to Hedgehog's "The Train Goes Beyond the Clouds, Dreaming in the Ninth Heaven" and New Pants' "Life is Hot Because of You, Once Again Touched". I also read a hot comment, which made me think about my experience during the first season of Le Xia.
In the summer of 2019, I was still in my junior year of college. My roommates were all preparing for postgraduate entrance exams in the next semester, but I didn't want to pursue a master's degree. I stayed in the dormitory all day doing design work for future jobs. The city where my university is located is by the sea and surrounded by mountains. My dormitory is on the third floor, and I can see the distant mountains from the window. The sea breeze from outside would blow in, swaying the curtains back and forth. That is the most memorable scene for me. When Le Xia was broadcasted every week, I would order two pounds of crayfish and beer, and eat, drink, and watch. The first season was so amazing that I discovered many hidden gem bands and shed many tears. It wasn't until the end of that season that I realized I had spent such a complete and beautiful summer, which was also the last complete summer memory of my youth. In the autumn of that year, I left the seaside city where I had stayed for three years and went to Jinan to participate in the school's planning training program. In the winter, I went to Hangzhou for an internship. I couldn't always go back to school. The next year, when the pandemic became severe, even the graduation ceremony for summer was canceled. The thesis defense was also changed to online. Only when I finally received my graduation certificate, after a series of pandemic reporting and internship resignation, could I rush back to school and spend the remaining three to five days of graduation with my classmates and friends. The day after graduation, I took the high-speed train to Beijing and started my formal job, marking the end of my youth.

Why is it necessary to intern during the summer?#
An internship program is similar to planting a tree. The output within half a year is actually very limited. It is a process of learning and growth, but the growth in the following years is amazing. For planting a tree, the best time is ten years ago, and the second best time is now. So, for the company in half a year or a year later, internship programs should start now.
I remember when I first joined Byte, I met a friend from the University of Hong Kong who was in her second year and came out for an internship. Because the academic environment was too intense, it was common for students to go to big companies for internships early and prepare for studying abroad or further education. I feel that during my time in college, I didn't realize how to do things more efficiently. The same path of progress can lead to vastly different speeds of improvement in different environments.

Of course, if you really can't read books, you shouldn't force yourself. On the other hand, your alternative options can be something else, rather than jumping from a level 10 skill to a level 1 skill. I have always believed that all "brushing" behaviors should not be excessively used, as they will definitely affect your mental state and lower your level of vitality. In this kind of lifestyle, many things that used to be easy for you to do slowly become difficult. It undergoes a process similar to the crowding-out effect—not only does it affect behavior, but it also constructs a corresponding lifestyle and psychological environment. In other words, many bad habits will generate a matching permanent behavior, which is something that needs to be highly alert.

The brain is constantly changing, just like a tree growing towards the sun. Repeated brain stimulation will gradually change its development. For example, if you keep watching short videos, you will become more and more dependent on short and shallow content, and you will become unfamiliar and unskilled in longer and deeper content. The sun's hand that can change it is in myself.
